Well… How Goes the New Year’s Resolutions or Goals?
Well, January is nearly over, so starts the new year! Resolutions or goals, how are you doing? Me, I’m doing pretty well, keeping up my word count to acceptable levels. Yeah! Moving forward on A Warlock’s Secrets, waiting on cover art and pre-galley, should have a release date this spring. You’ll be the first to know.
I’m putting the finishing touches on the third and fourth books in the Demon’s Witch series. Then on to either the sequel to Charm Me or finish up my romantic suspense, Security Force of Two. Then there are still Gwen and Brock from A Witch’s Holiday Wedding rattling around in my mind for their book. We’ll see who wins out. Any suggestions?
Exercising, well that took a nose dive. I was up to 4 days a week, feeling pretty good then way-laid by a terrible cold for the last week where just breathing was a challenge. Hope to return to exercising this week.
Super bowl 51 is set with the Patriots and Falcons. Shame on me, I can’t get excited about either, but hope for outstanding Super Bowl commercials! How about you?
Camping reservations for spring, summer and fall, I’ve done well in that department. Made three, got the spots I wanted and the desired dates, so far so good, only reservations for August left.
Revamped my office, got a second screen so I can keep an eye on email, social media connections, my blog all while working on my WIP on the main screen. Not switching from tab to tab is a major time saver for me.

I’ve never been much of a camper. Although I might be able to do the RV thing…if it had its own bathroom!
That is the only way to camp. We have a 30 foot fifth wheel with all the creature comforts. Gave up roughing it years ago when we go flooded out of our tent. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I appreacite it.
I am so jealous of your double screens! What a genius idea. Good job sticking with most of your goals.
As for the Super Bowl…I will be rooting against Tom Brady. 😀
Thanks for stopping by Elizabeth! The double screens are working great so far. Productivity seems to be taking an up turn too. Yippee! That’s kinda where I am on the Super Bowl too! Have a great week!
Tena, you are one busy lady! I struggle with finding time for exercise too, especially with my writing career and a small business to run. When it comes to future books, I vote for Gwen and Brock. Love those two! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by Anna! I really appreciate it! I love Gwen and Brock too, we’ll see what the future brings for them.Good Luck with your exercise & other goals. I’m still lagging this week, no energy.
Must be the time of year, I’m down with a cold, too. Didn’t make any resolutions this year. Just slugging it out day by day. As for the SB, they lost me when the Pack fizzled.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you feel better soon. Write on. LOL Yep it’s the SB Commercials for me. LOL
Constantly juggling writing, a part time job, kid stuff, and self-care over here! Hoping to meet some of my 2017 goals! Promote my new book coming out in spring, finish a contemporary mainstream women’s fiction (still unsure of genre) and submit that one, plus dig into a prequel I want to write for the romance coming out in the spring. Also writing magazine articles and querying out my children’s book idea. I have too many ideas and goals! Must pace myself…(I have at least another 3 book ideas brewing as well)
Boy don’t I feel for you. I’m about in the same boat. Let’s hope 2017 is great for everyone! Thanks for stopping by Jean!
