#L&SR’s #Wednesday’s Blog Challenge 1-15-20 Books I Can’t Wait To Read in 2020
Welcome to #L&SR’s #Wednesday’s Blog Challenge 1-15-20 Books I Can’t Wait to Read in 2020… Lets get started.,
In reviewing my choices, I decided to give JD Robb another try. My first book of her’s I hated. I was told my people that absolutely love her books, I’d picked one of her worst books in that series. Figures. So one more time I ‘ll try Golden in Death.
In the latest thriller by JD Robb, homicide detective Eve Dallas investigates a murder with a mysterious motive―and a terrifying weapon. Release date Feb. 4, 2020.
Next up, Linda Howard’s After Sundown, release date of March 31, 2020.
Danger brings together two guarded hearts in a battle for survival in this irresistible story from New York Times best-selling authors Linda Howard and Linda Jones.
The Guardian by John Grisham. Again I loved all his novels until the last few years. Seemed to me he was calling them in. Gray Mountain was a prime example. He spent the first six chapters rehashing what he said in the first chapter. But I’m going to give him one more chance.
In the small Florida town of Seabrook, a young lawyer named Keith Russo was shot dead at his desk as he worked late one night. The killer left no clues. There were no witnesses, no one with a motive.
Alas, back to my writing cave where deadlines loom, so let’s see what other authors list as Books I Can’t Wait to read In 2020. L&SR

I didn’t know John Grisham had a new book coming out. I used to read a lot of his stuff!
My post.
Yep he does. Hope it’s better that his recent ones. Thanks for stopping by!
I really need to try JD Robb.
If you do, I’d be interested to hear what you think. Thanks for stopping by Jennifer!
Truthfully… I kind of feel like the In Death books aren’t as good if you haven’t been following the series. Half the fun of reading them is finding out what the “family” of characters is up to. Maybe you should just start with the first book (Naked in Death) and see what you think. That’s my .02 FWIW.
I’m here today: http://www.mariannearkins.com/wednesday-weekly-blogging-challenge-books-i-cant-wait-to-read-in-2020/
I’ve heard that before. I’ve also go Naked in Death, so I’ll start with that. Thanks for the suggestion. Glad you stopped by!
Nice to give Grisham another chance. It’s been awhile since I’ve read any of his. https://pmprescott.blogspot.com/2020/01/wednesday-challenge-011520.html
yeah, well lets hope he doesn’t blow it. Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for stopping by… and I agree. I think you’ll enjoy them more if you follow the series. I absolutely fell in love with them.
I really haven’t read Grisham (or Robb) and I’m probably missing out. I’m not sure about After Sundown; Prepper fiction generally leaves me a little itchy. It’s not that I dislike it, exactly, it’s just not my kink. But a lot of that is emphasis: the idea of a guy with his own disaster shelter isn’t an automatic non-starter. I’ll be interested to see what you think.
My own list is here.
I’m reading the Guardian by Grisham and it’s been good so far. Good list. I haven’t tried Robb or Roberts. seems like I”m stalling for some reason. Oh well. 🙂
